Get to know Rick Mitarotonda's new Archtop: The DeLuxe

A nod to the venerable Gibson ES-150, Charlie Christian's axe of choice, with some Drac-ish design cues. The idea was to create a guitar that honored that lineage while maintaining my personal design aesthetic and geared toward a modern player.

Bio: Ruby May Quilter is a London-born, Los Angeles–based artist whose practice lingers between painting and tattooing, united by an intimate attention to line and detail. Renowned for her delicate single-needle black-and-grey tattoos, Quilter has cultivated a distinct visual language rooted in precision and emotional subtlety and developed a multidisciplinary practice that bridges contemporary art and tattoo culture. Her work has been featured in numerous international publications, and she is currently the subject of a solo exhibition at Rusha & Co., further expanding her exploration of image-making as a form of intimacy, ritual, and connection.
