Each DeLuis Guitar is made by hand by Luthier Greg DeLuis. From rendering your wood, hand carving tops, hand carving necks, bending sides, creating custom ebony and brass hardware, as well as hand cutting all inlay. No CNC or shortcuts are used is any process, just traditional Luthiery methods. We always drive this point home because it is increasingly rare to find guitars, especially electric, that are 100% handcrafted. We take immense pride in this fact and it is the cornerstone of signature DeLuis models.
TRADITIONAL LUTHIERY WITH MODERN VISION
Every DeLuis Guitar is made with old school craftsmanship principles and methods. The result is heirloom quality instruments that stand the test of time, and the road.
While the methodology is traditional, there are no limitations in terms of design. The sky is the limit. The existing models offered by DeLuis Guitars are a result of years and years of Greg being a Luthier and musician, and each model has something unique to offer you as a player and collector. Greg is always innovating, designing, and learning new skills like traditional jewelry making, to enhance the beauty and function of his guitars.
THE ORDERING PROCESS
Due to high demand, available spots on the DeLuis Guitars production schedule are very limited each year. To secure your spot in a queue for these openings, please submit an inquiry form to start the process. You will be contacted shortly to confirm details of your custom build.
Deposit is 1/3 of the total cost. Once the first payment is made to secure your spot, we will at that point get to design your guitar together and finalize spec details. We do this to protect Greg's time and those of our customers. Payments are broken up in 3 equal parts throughout the build for your convenience.
